Karen is a respected leader with experience in property, procurement, and governance in the education, aged care, and public sectors. In her most recent executive role at Baptistcare, Karen was responsible for a broad portfolio that included retirement living, affordable housing, goods and services procurement, and strategic asset management of operations throughout Western Australia. She is an Independent Director of Ngarluma Ngurra Ltd, a public company that holds, develops, and manages land on behalf of the Ngarluma People in the Pilbara region of Western Australia, a member of the Murdoch Strategic Precinct Group, and is the Housing and Planning Policy Manager for Aged and Community Services WA.
Karen is a graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and an active coach and mentor, including for The Smith Family and the University of Western Australia student mentoring programmes. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce with First Class Honours and a Master of Science from the University of Western Australia.
